Bio: st thought i'd chime in... I really loved Chrno Crusade Smile It's got a lot of humor, but a serious, almost depressing undertone, throughout. The fight scenes aren't the greatest, but it's fairly original in plot, and theme in general; also, what may be lacking in action is made up for in quality of animation. The ending is appropriate...somber but eloquent. It's rather short too, at 24 episodes, so although certain posters may complain of boredom, it really shouldn't be a problem. Overall, not the best, but definitely great in it's own right. I would say you'd be disappointed if you passed it up without at least giving it a try.
